We asked London Underground, why choose TagEvac®?

  • Simplified process
  • Simple to learn
  • Reduced evacuation times

The CPD Signals & Power Project Delivery team based at Signal House, Acton is part of the network that oversees installation and testing of new signalling equipment on various sites on the London Underground. Signal House is a hub which is used for day and night working and houses up to 300 staff on various shift patterns.

Looking to review their evacuation they realised that reliance on head count would be impracticable and looked towards implementing sweep evacuation to manage that task. We worked with their team from the outset, including being part of an initial safety briefing to get a better understanding of the operation and how TagEvac® could be best used to create a reliable evacuation solution.

To further support our client’s specific requirements we designed and supplied Zone Identification panels which indicate the evacuation zone at each point of entry. Useful for both Fire Wardens and the Fire and Rescue Service alike, we have now adopted this as part of the standardisation of the TagEvac® system.

From this key trial project we now look forward to supplying TagEvac® further within London Underground’s large and varied estate.

TagEvac® is an affordable, efficient and scalable solution designed to minimise disruption – meaning you can save money by significantly reducing your downtime costs. Get in touch for a free consultation and to find out how we can help you.
