We asked GlaxoSmithKline, why choose TagEvac®?

  • Works on large site
  • Bespoke options
  • Ongoing Support

GlaxoSmithKline plc was formed in 2000 as a result of a merger between Glaxo Wellcome plc and SmithKline Beecham plc, although their history can be traced back much further to London’s Plough Court Pharmacy in the 1700s. Today, it is one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies.

The company has its purpose-built headquarters in Brentford, West London, and has over 5000 staff at their offices. The building is designed with four distinct interconnected blocks with a 12-floor central tower.

Managing evacuation on this large site provided a unique challenge. By allocating zoned areas of the building to specific Assembly Points the Assembly controller could then relay that information back to the Central Security Operation, a first for TagEvac®. In order to handle the detailed information being collected at Security we designed and built a simple Mimic board so that it was easy to see all areas of the building when reported as clear.

This solution has provided operational clarity for GSK’s first responders, Incident controllers and the Fire and Rescue service.

TagEvac® is an affordable, efficient and scalable solution designed to minimise disruption – meaning you can save money by significantly reducing your downtime costs. Get in touch for a free consultation and to find out how we can help you.
